About This Access Site
Located at the end of Mill Brook Road in Andover, this access point provides a convenient launch onto Lower Richardson Lake in Maine's Appalachian region. The facility includes a parking lot, small dock, and boat ramp suitable for trailered boats. To reach the ramp from Oquossoc, travel 14.4 miles east on RT 16/Wilson's Mill Road, then turn left onto Mill Brook Road and continue for 1 mile on the dirt road to the ramp.

Richardson Lake offers paddlers and boaters access to scenic mountain waters. The site serves as the primary water access point for exploring Lower Richardson Lake and connecting waterways in the region. Both kayakers and canoeists will find this ramp suitable for launching, making it a good base for day trips or longer paddling expeditions. The nearby Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge provides additional outdoor recreation opportunities in the area.
