About This Access Site
Riley Fuzzell Road Bridge provides a public boat launch on Spring Creek, a medium-sized river in the Spring area of Montgomery County. The launch was improved and dedicated to the public in 2007. **Parking is available at the barricade at the end of the older section of Riley Fuzzell Road**, with a short walk to the water access point.

Spring Creek offers a variety of paddling opportunities suitable for kayakers and canoeists. The creek features moderate flow (averaging 51.9 cubic feet/second) with an average gradient of 31.1 feet/mile, making it appropriate for paddlers with some experience. From this access point, you can make a short 2.8-mile paddle downstream to Pundt Park, or extend your trip up to 11 miles for a full-day adventure. The creek's 21-mile length and elevation drop of 663 feet provide scenic paddling through varying terrain.
