Ringer Camping Area
Location
The Chattahoochee River in this section is generally flat and wide, though water levels and current can vary significantly depending on conditions. The area has about ten boat ramps spread across the park, making it a convenient option for both motorized and non-motorized boaters. Paddlers may find the Highway 16 bridge boat ramp near Whitesburg a good alternative launch point.
The park is reservable and has a $75 per day fee for use of the shelter. To speak with the main office for general information, visitors can call (706) 645-2937. Nearby camping is available at Brush Creek Campground, located within 10 miles of the Ringer Access site.
