River Bend Drive

River Bend Drive provides year-round boat access to Toledo Bend Reservoir on the Sabine River in Sabine County, Texas. Located off FM 3315, approximately 5 miles east of TX Highway 87, this access point features a two-lane boat ramp capable of handling all vessel types. A launch fee is required. Toledo Bend Reservoir is situated on the lower Sabine River, a major waterway with significant flow characteristics—averaging over 9,100 cubic feet per second with an average velocity of approximately 5.9 feet per second. The reservoir offers approximately 33 public access areas on the Texas side, providing multiple launch and take-out options for extended trips. Boles Field Campground is available within 10 miles for overnight stays.
