About This Access Site
River Round Conservation Area offers a well-maintained boat ramp and large parking area on the Meramec River near Moselle. This is a popular access point for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters, with facilities in good condition. The site features sandy banks, forested bottomland, and open fields typical of this section of the river.

This section of the Meramec is characterized by calm, slow-moving water with minimal current—expect to do significant paddling rather than float passively. The water is generally clean with minimal debris. River Round works well as a take-out point for trips originating upstream (approximately 10 miles and 20 minutes from Redhorse Access) or as a starting point for downstream paddling. Both kayaks and canoes are suitable for this area, though the flat water makes it accessible for paddlers of varying skill levels.
