Riverside Park

Riverside Park offers a convenient boat launch for paddlers and boaters accessing the Lemonweir River and New Lisbon Lake. The ramp is located within the campground facility and features good parking, bathrooms, and shower facilities. The park operates as both a day-use access point and RV campground, which can make it busy during peak times. Tent camping sites are also available if you're planning an overnight trip.

The Lemonweir River provides scenic paddling through the area, with numerous access points along its length. From the park, paddlers can explore the main Lemonweir River and Little Lemonweir River, which are popular for fishing and recreational paddling. During windy conditions, paddlers should stay close to the right-hand shoreline (near Highway 12/16 and the mobile home areas) when paddling the wider lake sections for safer conditions.

The site sits near Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, offering opportunities to explore glacially-shaped landscapes and natural areas in the region. Consider securing bikes and kayaks at the put-in if the campground is crowded, and plan your paddle timing around campground activity levels for a more peaceful experience.
