About This Access Site
The Riverside Street boat ramp provides access to the White River in White County, Arkansas. This major river system is over 1,000 miles long, draining a watershed of nearly 27,000 square miles. With an average flow of over 34,800 cubic feet per second and a total drop of nearly 7,800 feet from source to mouth, the White River offers a substantial waterway for paddlers and boaters.
The Riverside Street ramp features a paved launch area and a sizeable parking lot, making it a convenient access point. It's located approximately 15 river miles below Dam 1 at Batesville and 7 miles above the Oil Trough Access at AR Hwy 122. This section of the White River is characterized by a relatively gentle gradient of 7.4 feet per mile on average.
