Rock Creek Marina offers a well-developed boat launch facility on Rock Creek Lake in Rock Creek State Park near Kellogg. The site features two boat ramps accommodating various vessel sizes, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. All watercraft are limited to a 5 mph speed limit, creating a peaceful paddling environment. The marina is fully equipped with rental options including canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats if you don't have your own equipment.
The access point provides excellent amenities beyond launching, including an 85-site campground (most with electricity), rental cabins, and bank fishing opportunities. A concessionaire on-site offers bait, snacks, and helpful local information. For paddlers seeking guided experiences, Blue Heron Eco Cruises depart Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, providing opportunities to explore the scenic waterway. The location sits where the Mississippi and Wapsipinicon Rivers meet on the Mississippi backwaters, offering diverse paddling experiences from calm lake conditions to river exploration.
