Rockport State Park

Rockport State Park offers a convenient boat ramp and access site for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on the Weber River and Rockport Reservoir. The concrete boat ramp is located on the east side of the reservoir, requiring a drive around the majority of the lake to reach. This ramp can accommodate a range of boat sizes.

The Weber River flows into Rockport Reservoir, creating a scenic flat-water paddling environment. Trout and bass fishing is popular on the reservoir, with excellent fly fishing opportunities where the river enters the lake. In winter, the reservoir also draws ice anglers targeting perch. Paddlers should be aware of typical reservoir conditions, including potential wind and boat traffic during peak seasons. The park offers additional amenities like campgrounds, yurts, and boat/kayak rentals to enhance your visit.
