About This Access Site
Rocky Creek Park offers a well-maintained public boat launch on the east side of Benbrook Lake near Crowley, Texas. The facility features four concrete ramps with five total lanes and a 24-foot width with a gentle slope, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger boats. With parking for 38 vehicles, the park is conveniently accessed via Old Granbury Road (1089) or McPherson Road from the Fort Worth area.

Beyond boating, Rocky Creek Park provides additional recreational amenities including picnicking areas, fishing access, and hiking and horseback trails. The park is part of the larger Benbrook Lake recreation area, set in scenic rolling hills and prairie meadows southwest of Fort Worth. Note that water levels can fluctuate seasonally, and the ramp may not be usable during low water periods, so check conditions before heading out with your boat or paddling gear. Nearby camping is available at Mustang Bear Creek Campground.
