Rocky Fork State Park - East Shore Marina

The East Shore Marina ramp provides convenient access to Rocky Fork Lake, a scenic 2,080-acre reservoir with 30 miles of shoreline located in Highland County near Hillsboro. This is one of six launch points around the lake and offers a well-developed facility with docking space, parking, and a modern on-site restaurant. The clear waters make this an excellent destination for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats alike, with unlimited horsepower permitted on the lake.

The East Shore Marina area is located right on the lake's edge, offering immediate water access for paddlers. Facilities include tie-ups for boaters and campers, making it suitable for both day trips and extended outings. The lake features designated boat camping and swimming areas, and is known for good fishing opportunities throughout its 30-mile shoreline. Note that the immediate launch area has minimal shade, so plan accordingly for sunny conditions.
