Rocky Fork State Park - Fishermans Wharf

Located in Hillsboro in Highland County, Fisherman's Wharf is one of six boat launch facilities on the 2,080-acre Rocky Fork Lake. This access point offers direct lake access with tie-up availability and is conveniently situated right at the water's edge. The lake permits unlimited horsepower boating, making it suitable for a variety of watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.

The facility provides parking and is accessible to both day-use visitors and campers staying at the nearby campground. Note that a no-wake zone exists at the state park end of the lake, so check current regulations before launching. Three marinas around the lake offer additional services including fuel, docking space, and launching facilities if you need supplies. As an Ohio State Park, there is no entrance fee or annual pass requirement, making this a budget-friendly access point.
