Rocky Point Recreation Area - East

Rocky Point Recreation Area offers convenient water access to Belle Fourche Reservoir on Owl Creek, located approximately 8 miles east of Belle Fourche near Fruitdale. This developed recreation area features multiple boat ramps, including a low-water ramp—useful for paddlers and boaters during varying water levels. The facility is well-equipped with additional amenities including a swimming beach, fish cleaning stations, picnic shelters, and a playground, making it suitable for day-use visitors and longer stays.

The recreation area includes 62 campsites and two camping cabins, with predominantly back-in RV/trailer sites available.
