Rod 'N' Reel Marina West in Chesapeake Beach offers convenient access to Fishing Creek and the nearby Chesapeake Bay, located just one mile from the bay's open water. The facility features a dedicated kayak and canoe launch alongside traditional boat ramps, with 70 designated trailer parking spots available. Amenities include a marina store, pump-out facilities, picnic area, and various electrical hookups (15, 20, and 30 amp service). Mean water level is 4-5 feet.

This location is known for easy navigation with minimal winding creek passages before reaching open water, making it ideal for paddlers of varying experience levels. Note that a 13-foot fixed bridge restricts access to some interior docks (A-F), so sailboats may prefer their sister property, Rod 'N' Reel Resort Marina. For navigation, reference NOAA Chart 12263.
