About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Located at 998 Mullet Road in Port Canaveral, this government-owned public boat ramp provides access to the Canaveral Basin and Atlantic Ocean. The facility is well-maintained with two concrete launch lanes in good to excellent condition, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels.

**Amenities & Parking**
The park offers ample parking with 48 vehicle spaces (including 3 handicap-accessible spots) and 28 trailer parking spaces. Launch and staging docks are available to assist with boat deployment. The site also features an observation tower—a nice bonus for wildlife viewing between paddles. The asphalt parking lot is in good condition, and nearby Mullet Drive provides additional access options for exploring the area.

**What to Expect**
Paddlers should be prepared for tidal waters and ocean conditions typical of the Canaveral Basin. The ramp's excellent condition and proximity to Port Canaveral make it a convenient launching point, though boat traffic from the working port can be significant. This is an ideal spot if you're planning to explore the lagoon or coastal waters in the Port Canaveral area.
