Rosario Resort

Located on the eastern shore of Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands, Rosario Resort offers waterfront access to Cascade Bay via a full-service marina. This is a developed facility featuring docks, fuel services, and resort amenities including dining and lodging. Day-use space is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the harbormaster's discretion, though space is limited during summer season—paddlers should plan accordingly and consider bringing a dinghy as backup.

**Access & Moorage Details:** Temporary moorage is permitted for up to 1 hour (weather and availability permitting), and only the western docks and eastern walkway are available for day-use visitors. Boats cannot be moored in front of the fuel pump during business hours. Large groups (8+ vessels) or commercial operators must arrange access in advance.

**Location & Recreation:** Situated 80 miles northwest of Seattle on the northwest corner of Washington State, this site provides excellent access to the San Juan Islands' marine environment, including opportunities to explore the San Juan Island National Historical Park and San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Expect scenic saltwater paddling with potential wildlife viewing, including orca whales and native wildlife.
