The ramp is adjacent to the Water Pollution Control Center and is easily accessible from Route 6. The facility is operated through a partnership between the Oil Center Rotary Club and the Bayou Vermilion District, ensuring regular maintenance and upkeep.

This full-service launch offers a dedicated boat ramp, floating docks, year-round bathrooms, and drinking water. Parking is available (paid and free options). Launch fees are modest: $7 for boats and jet skis, and $3 for kayaks and canoes. The Vermilion River at this location provides a scenic paddling experience and is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating.
