Route 70 Bridge

The Route 70 Bridge boat ramp provides public access to the Belle River in Pierre Part, St. Martin Parish. To reach the launch, head south from LA-70, cross the Belle River Bridge, then turn right onto Levee Highway (LA-997). The ramp entrance is located approximately 1.7 miles south on the left side of the road. This access point is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized vessels.

**Important bridge clearance information:** Vessels requiring less than 9.7 feet of vertical clearance can pass under the bridge at any time. The bridge will open in case of emergency at any time, though regular scheduled openings should be confirmed locally.
