**Overview & Launch Facilities**
Roy Lake State Park's marina provides a well-developed public boat ramp and docking facilities in Lake City, making it an excellent launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The facility features direct ramp access, multiple docks, and ample amenities to support a full day on the water.
**Amenities & Services**
This is a comprehensive recreation destination with bathhouses (seasonal: May 1st–September 30th), vault toilets, picnic areas, and waterfront campsites for those planning extended visits. The park also offers boat rentals, fishing amenities including a fishing dock and fish-cleaning station, and a sandy beach for swimming. Sandy beaches and an island trail provide additional recreational opportunities beyond paddling.
**Planning Your Visit**
Roy Lake is known for excellent fishing but welcomes all water recreationists. The park has two campgrounds with electrical hookups, modern comfort stations with showers and flush toilets, and camping cabins available for overnight stays. For winter visits (October 1st–April 30th), note that bathhouse facilities may be closed, so plan accordingly. This makes Roy Lake State Park an ideal spot for both day trips and multi-day paddling adventures in Marshall County.
