About This Access Site
The San Pedro Boat Storage facility provides public boat access to San Pablo Bay in San Rafael, California. This boat ramp is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats looking to explore the expansive San Pablo Bay.

The boat ramp is located off North San Pedro Road and is open to the public. Parking and boat storage services are available on-site. Boaters should note that all vessels entering the marina must first undergo a vessel inspection before launching. There is also a boat wash station available for use.

San Pablo Bay is a large, relatively calm estuary that connects to the greater San Francisco Bay. Its protected waters offer excellent paddling and boating opportunities for recreationists. Nearby, the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary and Alcatraz Island provide additional scenic destinations to explore from the water.
