Sandwich Marina

Sandwich Marina offers one of Cape Cod's most popular and well-maintained boat ramps, located at the eastern end of the Cape Cod Canal in Sandwich. The facility features a double ramp with ample parking for approximately 100 vehicles with trailers, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and powerboaters. The Town of Sandwich maintains the facility professionally, and the ramp is staffed on weekends to assist with launches and landings.

From this access point, paddlers can explore the scenic 14-mile Cape Cod Canal or venture east into Cape Cod Bay, which is only minutes away by boat. The ramp operates on an honor system with a $20 daily launch fee; payment envelopes are available at the ramp shack. A fuel dock is also available for those needing gas. This is an excellent starting point for both day trips and longer explorations of the Cape Cod waterways, with convenient amenities and good infrastructure for all experience levels.
