About This Access Site
This boat ramp provides access to Sardis Lake and the Little Tallahatchie River, a major waterway stretching 117 miles with a drainage area of 2,556 square miles. Located in Alsonville, Panola County, the site is conveniently reached via MS Highway 35/315 from Interstate 55 (approximately 8 miles from either Batesville or Sardis). Day-use passes are available for boat ramp and water access; contact Paradise Point at (662) 563-4531 for current fees and pass information.

Paddlers and boaters should be aware that water conditions on the Little Tallahatchie River are influenced by Sardis Dam spillway operations. Before launching, check current gate openings, flow rates, and spillway levels by calling (662) 563-4531 or consulting the Vicksburg District Daily River Bulletin online. The river features an average gradient of 3.4 feet per mile and typical flows of 4,591 cubic feet per second. Sardis Lake itself offers over 98,000 acres of water and is known for fishing and sand beach recreation.

Additional amenities in the area include Oak Grove Campground nearby and the Sardis Lake State Park facilities with swimming pools and recreation halls. Daily and Annual Day Use Passes are available for purchase.

Paradise Point is one of the most popular spots at Sardis Lake for picnicking or taking a swim in the beautiful Lower Lake. 
Recreation
Paradise Point has a lot to offer visitors. The area has lots of picnic spots available, a large swim beach, a basketball court and a volleyball court. There is also a playground for our younger visitors. 
Facilities
Paradise Point has two group picnic shelters available for reservation. There are 28 individual picnic sites, a basketball court, volleyball court, playground and swim beach in the area. 
Natural Features
Paradise Point is situated along the shoreline of the 400-acre "Lower Lake" below Sardis Dam. The area provide great views of the lake.
