About This Access Site
Sardis Lake's Paradise Point boat ramp provides access to the Little Tallahatchie River and upper reaches of Sardis Lake. This federal recreation area managed by the Army Corps of Engineers offers a boat ramp, campground, and day-use facilities.

For paddlers, the Little Tallahatchie River flowing into Sardis Lake offers a scenic, meandering waterway to explore. The river is generally calm and wide, though water levels can fluctuate based on dam operations. Boaters should check current spillway gate openings and water levels before launching, which can be obtained by contacting the facility at (662) 563-4531.

Daily and annual day-use passes are available for access to the boat ramp and swim beach. Group picnic shelters can also be reserved for a fee. Campsites are available for overnight stays. Paddlers and boaters will find this a convenient access point to enjoy the natural beauty of Sardis Lake and the Little Tallahatchie River.
