**Location & Access:**
Scatter Creek Campground provides access to the Cle Elum River in the Wenatchee National Forest near Salmon La Sac. From Cle Elum, WA, take Highway 903 north about 19 miles along Lake Cle Elum to Salmon La Sac, then continue north on Forest Road 4330 approximately 9 miles to the trailhead. The site offers adequate parking for 6+ vehicles with basic restroom facilities available 0.25 mile up the road at Scatter Creek camp.
**What to Expect:**
This is primarily a trailhead access point for Scatter Creek Trail #1328 rather than a developed boat launch. The surrounding area features conifer forest and access to the scenic Pacific Crest Trail, making it attractive for paddlers exploring the Cle Elum River area and nearby Cle Elum Lake. The USFS maintains additional boat launch facilities and camping at other locations on the lake, including the Wish Posh shoreline access area. No reservations are required at this site.
**Nearby Amenities:**
Cayuse Horse Camp, a reservable campground, is located within 10 miles and offers another camping option for visitors planning extended trips in the area. For full facility amenities and ADA accessibility information, check the Washington State Parks website or contact the Cle Elum Ranger District.
