School Section Lake is a 211-acre recreational lake in Kimball, Stearns County, offering public boat access via a recently upgraded concrete ramp with an improved pier. The lake has a maximum depth of 14 feet and is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats up to approximately 12-18 feet. The access site includes parking and is located near a beach area, making it convenient for day trips and water recreation.
The lake is largely developed with residential properties along the shoreline, though wetland areas remain in spots.
