Scott's Landing provides motorized and non-motorized boat access to Landing Creek and surrounding state waters within the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. The boat ramp is located at the end of Scott's Landing Road (off Moss Mill Road) in Leeds Point, Galloway Township, approximately 10 minutes north of refuge headquarters. This is the primary public boat launch facility for the refuge and offers access to migratory waterfowl areas and saltwater fishing grounds.
Paddlers and boaters should be aware that this launch serves both motorized and non-motorized craft, and the area is used for waterfowl hunting during appropriate seasons. The refuge is part of an important estuarine system protecting coastal habitat. To reach the refuge from the Garden State Parkway, take Exit 41 (Pomona/Galloway/Stockton University), and follow directions to Scott's Landing Road. For non-motorized paddling options, the refuge also maintains a separate non-motorized launch on Lily Lake. Check current refuge regulations, seasonal restrictions, and hunting schedules before visiting.
