About This Access Site
**Access Overview**
Sequoyah Bay State Park offers boat ramp access to Fort Gibson Lake, a 19,100-acre impoundment on the Grand (Neosho) River located about 5 miles northwest of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. The park features multiple lighted boat ramps designed to accommodate various watercraft, making it a convenient launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

**Facilities & Amenities**
The Gray Oaks Road access is part of the larger Sequoyah Bay State Park complex, which provides comprehensive recreation facilities along the lake's 225-mile shoreline. In addition to the boat ramps, the park offers camping options with RV facilities (including full hook-up sites at Choctaw and Seminole campgrounds), day-use areas, and shelters available by reservation. Three boat ramps within the park distribute traffic and offer multiple launch options for paddlers and boaters.

**Water & Recreation**
Fort Gibson Lake is a popular destination for fishing (largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye, and catfish), paddling, and water sports. The lake environment is generally sheltered, making it suitable for recreational paddling and casual boating. Online reservations are required for camping, with standard check-in at 5pm and check-out at 2pm.
