About This Access Site
Sequoyah Marina offers convenient access to Norris Lake, a major reservoir on the Clinch River system in Andersonville, Tennessee. Located nine miles from I-75 (Exit 122), the marina provides a full-service boat launch facility along with rental options, covered and uncovered slips, and onsite amenities including a restaurant and marina supplies. This is a developed, commercial access point best suited for motorized boats and larger vessels rather than hand-launched kayaks or canoes.

For paddlers and smaller boaters, be aware that Norris Lake is fed by the Clinch River, a substantial waterway with an average flow of 6,831 cubic feet per second and significant elevation changes. Water conditions can vary considerably depending on dam operations upstream. The lake itself offers scenic paddling opportunities, but conditions may be affected by reservoir fluctuations and boat traffic typical of a full-service marina area. Paddlers seeking quieter water or free hand-launch access may want to explore the free county parks and state boat access areas also available on Norris Lake.
