Shadow Lake (Concord)

Shadow Lake in Concord offers a public boat access point for paddlers and small-craft boaters in Essex County's Appalachian region. The ramp accommodates smaller boats and canoes/kayaks, with parking available at the site. Note that the access features a natural launch area rather than a developed concrete ramp, so paddlers should be prepared for a modest put-in. When using the ramp, launch toward the downstream side of the water body.
