Shell Lake is a 2,513-acre lake located in Cherry County, Nebraska, offering boat ramp access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The designated boat launch is located near the east abutment of the dam. The lake has a maximum depth of 36 feet and supports various fish species including musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it a popular destination for both paddling and fishing.
