Show Low Lake's west side boat ramp offers free day-use access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters in the Pinetop-Lakeside area. The ramp is located off Old Linden Road, accessible from either Highway 60 in Show Low or Highway 260 at its western end. Hand-launched vessels are permitted at the facility. The park entrance gate operates from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with after-hours access available to campers holding current reservations via PIN pad entry.
Paddlers should note that the ramp may occasionally close for maintenance projects (typically announced in advance). During such closures, alternative access points around Show Low Lake may remain available. Several campground options are located within 10 miles of the access site, including Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area Campground and Camp Tatiyee, making it convenient for multi-day trips. For current conditions, closures, or facility updates, contact local park management or check ahead before your visit.
