About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Silver Lake Boat Ramp is located in Maple Falls, Whatcom County, providing year-round access to Silver Lake. The WDFW-managed facility features a single-lane concrete ramp and small dock. A Washington State Discover Pass is required for parking. Note that the ramp can be difficult to locate—watch for signage on SR-504 near Camp Black Mountain Road at the north end of the lake.
**Facilities & Regulations**
The access area includes one parking lot with ADA parking stalls, two restrooms (though none ADA-accessible), and one fishing platform. Silver Lake has a 10 horsepower motor restriction, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The lake supports populations of largemouth bass, yellow perch, black crappie, and brown bullhead catfish, offering good fishing opportunities. Camping is not permitted at the ramp, though Douglas Fir Campground is available within 10 miles.
