About This Access Site
Silver Lake Complex in Lake Park, Dickinson County offers excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters with three hard-surfaced boat ramps around the lake. The main ramp at CR 476 provides developed boat access with a dedicated parking lot and flush restrooms nearby. Silver Lake is a modest water body with an average depth of 6.5 feet and maximum depth of 9.8 feet, making it ideal for recreational paddling and small motorboats. The lake is well-suited for leisurely paddles, fishing, and family outings.

The Silver Lake State Park complex provides comprehensive amenities for a full day or overnight visit. Beyond water access, the site features improved camping with electric hookups, running water, and shower facilities. Additional recreational opportunities include picnic areas, a playground, accessible shoreline fishing, and hiking trails including the Withlacoochee State Trail. Leashed pets are welcome, and only licensed, street-legal vehicles are permitted in the complex.

Whether you're planning a quick paddle or an extended camping trip, Silver Lake Complex is a well-developed access point with all the facilities needed to support your waterfront adventure.
