New Port Richey Sims Park

**Location & Access:** Sims Park Boat Ramp is located in New Port Richey on the Pithlachascotee River. The ramp is situated behind the Chamber of Commerce building on the northwest side of the Main Street Bridge. From US 19, turn east on Main Street and proceed two blocks to reach the park. The closest parking lot is at the corner of Sims Lane and Grand Boulevard.

**Facilities & Amenities:** This public access point offers a single launching lane, courtesy docks, and an ADA-accessible kayak launch, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and powerboats. The facility includes paved parking for approximately 10 boat trailers with additional grass parking on the southern end, plus public restrooms. The site serves as Mile 6.0 (the northern terminus) of the Pithlachascotee River Paddling Trail, making it a convenient starting or ending point for river paddlers exploring this scenic waterway.
