About This Access Site
Singing Bridge is a public DNR boat launch offering direct access to Lake Huron in Tawas City. The facility features a hard surface ramp suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger recreational boats. The ramp is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown amenities, including shops, restaurants, and beaches, making it a practical choice for day-use paddlers and boaters.

The launch is seasonal, typically available from early April through mid-November (weather permitting). A daily launch fee or seasonal permit is required year-round, with fees managed by the MDNR Waterways Commission. Before visiting, confirm current conditions and fee information with the Michigan DNR, as water levels and seasonal availability can affect access.
