**Location & Access:** Skipton Landing is a public boat ramp facility located in Cordova, Talbot County, MD, providing access to Skipton Creek and connecting waterways including Shipping Creek and Cox Creek. The 2.5-acre facility features a 14-foot-wide launching ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats.
**Amenities & Parking:** The site offers approximately 40 vehicle parking spaces with room to turn trailers around, plus a year-round wheelchair-accessible portable toilet. A fishing pier is also available on-site. Note that parking is somewhat limited, so arriving early during peak times is recommended. The facility is managed by Talbot County Parks.
**Rules & Important Information:** The landing is closed between 11:00 pm and 4:00 am—plan your trips accordingly. This is a carry-in, carry-out facility; pack out all trash ($100 litter fine applies). The site is near Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, offering excellent opportunities for exploring the Chester River area and Chesapeake Bay environs.
