Skyview Park - East provides convenient access to Skyview Lake and the Elkhorn River near Norfolk. The facility features two boat ramps suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft. Non-motorized boating is permitted on the lake, making it an ideal starting point for paddlers. The park also offers two 150-foot rocked jetties and a handicapped-accessible 100-foot T-head fishing pier for anglers and visitors.
The site serves as a popular put-in location for float trips along the Elkhorn River to other downstream access points. Primitive camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearby Elkhorn Crossing Recreation Area, with registration required at the campground kiosk. Ice fishing is permitted during winter months. Paddlers should note that Skyview Lake spans approximately 50 acres and is nestled among rolling hills in northwest Norfolk, offering scenic terrain for exploration.
