Located in Burrillville, Rhode Island, the Slatersville Reservoir Upper boat ramp provides convenient access to this popular recreational water body. The facility features a dedicated boat ramp, 30 parking spaces (including ADA-accessible spots), and is managed by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. To reach the access point from Route 146 north, take the exit for Route 5/Route 102/Slatersville, then turn right onto School Street and left onto Victory Highway/Route 102/Route 146A, following Route 102 for approximately 3.1 miles to the parking lot.
The reservoir is suitable for paddlers and boaters of all skill levels, with no special restrictions on outboard motors. However, boaters should stay clear of the dam at the far northeast end of the reservoir, where water drops approximately 20 feet into the lower portion of the reservoir. Note that restroom facilities are not available at this access point, so plan accordingly. The nearby West Hill Dam area offers additional recreational opportunities including swimming, picnicking, and hiking trails for visitors looking to extend their outing.
