About This Access Site
Smith Ridge offers convenient access to Green River Lake, one of Kentucky's largest recreational lakes with 8,000 surface acres of water. Located approximately 5 miles southeast of Campbellsville off Highway 372, this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility provides a developed boat launch with associated parking and amenities. The ramp serves as one of twelve launch points around the lake, making it a good option for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters looking to access the expansive flatwater lake.

The campground and surrounding area offer multiple facilities for extended visits or day trips. A playground, hiking trail, fishing pier, and picnic areas are available on-site. The nearby town of Campbellsville is only about 3.5 miles away if you need supplies or services. Three full-service marinas on the lake also provide boat rentals and other recreational options. Check ahead for current launch fees and hours by calling 270-789-2743, as fees typically apply for day-use access.
