**Location & Access:** South Cove is located on Lower Lake Keowee in Oconee County, SC, accessed via Cane Creek Landing Road off Keowee School Road. This public access point serves as a convenient launch for paddlers and boaters exploring the lower section of this expansive reservoir.
**Facilities & Parking:** The site features a single-lane boat ramp with paved parking for 15 vehicle/trailer combinations. Given that parking fills up quickly at popular times, arrive early—especially on weekends and during peak season. The modest parking capacity makes this a quieter alternative to some of the busier access points on the lake.
**About Lake Keowee:** With 18,500 acres of water and 300 miles of scenic shoreline, Lake Keowee offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and general boating. The lake is popular year-round, so check conditions before launching. Other public access points are available at Stamp Creek, High Falls County Park, and additional spots on both upper and lower sections of the lake if South Cove is full.
