About This Access Site
Sparrowfoot is a well-developed access point on the Grand River Arm of Harry S. Truman Lake near Clinton, Missouri. The facility features a boat ramp, 83 campsites (56 with full hookups and 27 with 30-amp service), and amenities including flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, and a dump station. This makes it an excellent base for extended paddling trips or multi-day camping adventures. Sites are reservable through Recreation.gov, and the facility accepts credit/debit card payment only.

The location is situated in scenic rolling hills with hardwood forests, grasslands, and rocky bluffs overlooking the water. Sparrowfoot is particularly popular with anglers and tournament fishermen, though it offers strong boating and paddling opportunities as well. Access is straightforward: from Highway 13, travel about one mile east on SE 450 Road and follow signs into the park.

Facilities
This campground offers 83 sites--56 of those have 50-amp and water, and 27 sites are 30-amp. Two day-use group picnic shelters are also available, making the area perfect for large parties or family functions. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, playground, a dump station and boat ramp.Natural Features
A mosaic of hardwood forests and grasslands covers the area's rolling hills. Rocky bluffs extend into the lake. 
Wildlife such as whitetail deer, turkey, hawks, ospreys, eagles, and many different water birds can be found in and around the park. 
An abundance of fish such as crappie, bass, walleye, paddlefish, blue and channel catfish can also be found in Harry S Truman Reservoir. Approximately 8,800 acres of standing timber were left in the lake to provide quality aquatic habitat. 


Nearby Attractions
Katy Trail State Park, the nation's longest rails-to-trails project, is nearby. This unique park stretches from Clinton to Machens, with dozens of trailheads in between. Biking and hiking are allowed on the entire length of the trail, and horses are allowed from Clinton to Sedalia.
