**Overview:** Sportsman Park offers a newly renovated boat ramp on Hayden Lake in northern Idaho, near the town of Hayden. The facility was expanded in 2023 and now provides over 40 parking spaces with a dual-lane access road to accommodate multiple vehicles. The ramp itself requires careful maneuvering, so plan accordingly if you're launching a larger vessel.
**Amenities & Access:** In addition to the boat ramp, the site includes a day-use park area with fishing docks. There's no ADA accessibility at this location. The park is ideal for accessing the north and east shorelines of Hayden Lake, and paddlers will encounter less boat traffic here compared to the Honeysuckle Beach launch. Mokins Bay Campground (reservable) is located nearby for those planning overnight trips. For alternative launches, Honeysuckle Beach and Tobler's Marina also provide access to the lake.
**Practical Notes:** Hayden Lake is a scenic mountain lake offering excellent paddling opportunities. If you need assistance, contact the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office at 208.446.1300.
