Spring Creek Recreation Area's Downstream Area provides boat access to Lower Spring Creek and Lake Oahe near Pierre, South Dakota. This non-reservable access point features a dirt boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats. The facility is part of the larger Lake Oahe recreation system, which offers over 2,000 miles of shoreline with clear water conditions ideal for paddling, fishing, and water sports.
The recreation area includes full amenities to support your visit, including a marina with boat slips, on-site convenience store, and a restaurant managed by the park's concessionaire. Overnight accommodations are available if you're planning an extended trip. The site is located 15 miles northwest of Pierre via SD Highway 1804.
