About This Access Site
Spring Lake is a small, 8-acre lake in Valders, Manitowoc County, offering a convenient public boat launch for kayakers, canoeists, and electric-motor boaters. The paved ramp features a 6% slope with adequate launch depth (>3 feet) and includes a boarding dock to assist with entry and exit. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 24 feet, providing safe conditions for paddling and small boating. Note that **motor boats are prohibited**—only electric motors are permitted.

The access site provides parking for 8 vehicle/trailer units and charges a daily fee of $5 or a seasonal fee of $20 for non-residents. A $100 citation will be issued for ramp use without a valid pass. The site is not ADA accessible. Spring Lake supports populations of northern pike, largemouth bass, and bluegill, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers.
