Spring Shores Marina offers convenient access to Lucky Peak Reservoir with two dedicated boat ramps and ample trailer parking in large lots. The full-service facility includes long-term moorage, fuel, a convenience store, and marina supplies, making it an excellent choice for day trips or extended outings. Located approximately 40 minutes from downtown Boise in Robie Creek, this is one of the primary access points for the reservoir, especially with the nearby Barclay Bay ramp currently closed for 2025.
Paddlers and boaters will find well-maintained infrastructure here suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized vessels. The site includes docking facilities maintained by Ada County Waterways. When launching, use the designated left side of the ramp (when facing shore) and ensure at least two people are present to assist with launching and retrieval. This location provides a good base for exploring Lucky Peak Reservoir while enjoying proximity to the scenic Boise Foothills and nearby recreation areas.
For those planning an overnight stay, Macks Creek Campground is available within 10 miles and offers reservable campsites, making Spring Shores an ideal hub for extended water-based adventures in the Boise area.
