Springfield Recreation Area offers a dedicated boat ramp providing access to Upper Lewis and Clark Lake near Springfield, South Dakota. The facility includes a multi-lane ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, along with amenities such as picnic areas, vault toilets, and drinking water. A ranger/staff member is typically present to assist visitors. The area is operated in partnership with the Division of Parks and Recreation.

**Important Note:** As of 2024, portions of the marina facilities are undergoing a multimillion-dollar upgrade project, with closures expected to extend through 2026.
