When access is available, Springs Road provides boat ramp access to Tamarack Lake. Paddlers and boaters should note that overnight mooring of unpowered boats (kayaks, canoes) is permitted only from March 1 through November 30 at designated areas, and boats must display a current registration. The nearby Woodcock Creek Lake Park & Campground (within 10 miles) offers camping facilities if you're planning an extended paddling trip in the area. The Erie National Wildlife Refuge is also nearby for additional outdoor recreation opportunities.
