St. Genevieve Church

**Location & Access:** St. Genevieve Church offers a public boat launch on Bayou Liberty in Slidell, St. Tammany Parish. The ramp is located south of Highway 433, just across the Bayou Liberty Bridge. To reach the launch, take the small road to the right before the power plant entrance—it winds under the bridge and across the railroad tracks to reach a large parking lot and concrete boat ramp. A modest fee applies ($3 per use or $25 annually).

**Facilities & Amenities:** The launch provides a dedicated concrete ramp suitable for trailered boats. A snack shop is on-site for boaters needing refreshments. Nearby lodging and dining options are available in Slidell for those wanting to leave their boats and explore the town. If you prefer an alternative launch point, Bayou Liberty Marina also operates a ramp in the area.

**Recreation Opportunities:** Bayou Liberty provides access to a productive waterway for boating, fishing, and paddling. The site is also conveniently positioned near Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge (north toward Lake Pontchartrain) and the Pearl River 3 Pools area, making it a good base for exploring the St. Tammany Parish watershed.
