Sterling Lake is a 74-acre lake in Lake County, IL, offering a dedicated boat ramp for paddlers and small boaters. The access point features a gravel launch suitable for canoes, kayaks, and car-top boats. The lake has a maximum depth of 23 feet and average depth of 14 feet, with a shoreline length of 2.3 miles. A crushed limestone multi-use path circles the lake's perimeter, making it accessible for various recreational activities.
