Stink Public Water Access

**Location & Access:** Stink Public Water Access is a primitive boat ramp located north of 167th Street in Henry, Codington County, providing public access to Long Lake. The ramp is constructed with oversized rock and gravel, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. Shore fishing opportunities are also available from state-owned lands along the south shore of the lake north of 167th Street.

**What to Expect:** Long Lake supports populations of Walleye (maintained through regular stocking) and Black Crappie, making it a popular destination for anglers and recreational boaters. The primitive nature of the ramp means paddlers and smaller craft may have the easiest access; those with larger boats should be prepared for basic launch conditions. The site offers a quieter, more natural experience compared to developed ramps, with plenty of shoreline to explore.
